Welcome to the Saving Graves Learning Lab

The Learning Lab is a full text library of cemetery conservation and preservation information, covering a wide spectrum of topics of interest. It contains a bounty of preservation and restoration information, including documentation, technical articles, and reference guides written by some of the top professionals in their fields. 

In some cases documents may be in multiple formats. To open the file click on the FILE TYPE ICON. File types found within the Learning Lab include:

  • - Standard format web page.  These files may be viewed by any browser on any platform. All onsite articles are available in full Saving Graves format or printer friendly versions.
  • - Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (.pdf). The Acrobat Reader needed to view the files can be downloaded FREE. If you have accessibility problems viewing any PDF document on these pages, go to http://access.adobe.com/simple_form.html and use the online conversion tools to obtain the document in text format.
  • - Microsoft Word Document (.doc).
  • - Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation file. Microsoft provides a stand alone FREE viewer as for those that do not have PowerPoint installed on their computers 
  • - Real Media audio or audio file. The Real Player software is required to hear or view these files and can be downloaded FREE.
     
PERMISSION TO REPRINT

Reprinting is defined as using Saving Graves materials as is, with no content changes.  This does not include format changes.  Simply printing a single hard copy for personal or private use does not require permission.  Permission to reprint up to 50 copies of up to any 5 articles on the Saving Graves web sites ( Including making copies for use or distribution to students in a educational setting) may be granted under the following conditions:
