| Welcome to Saving
Graves, the Cemetery
Preservation internet information portal! Saving Graves is a resource
tool designed to help you locate Cemetery preservation information
available through the world wide web. You will find here a wealth of
information including cemetery laws, links to government agencies,
cemetery index links, preservation groups and listings of Endangered
Cemeteries.
We
listen to our visitors... so we're constantly updating current pages
and adding new ones to meet your needs. If there is a
problem that you find with the website or have any comments
or
suggestions please let us know. We hope you enjoy your stay, and thanks
for visiting. You may want to take a moment to bookmark our site now so
you will be able to return at a later date easily.
One
thing thing that we aren't going to
tell you what browser you should run. We develop our pages so that they
can be useful to you, whether you are on the latest and greatest
browser, or are still playing "catch up". You've told us you aren't
willing to wait for large graphics to load, so we
try
to keep our graphics to a manageable size, and we
reuse many graphics so that you can get to our pages fast. In most
cases where there are cemetery photos we will place them on a separate
page, and then we use a smaller "thumbnail" version of the images that
you may click on if you wish to see the full sized version.

FAQ Top
How
can I e-mail someone who has submitted information?
You can directly
anyone who has submitted an email address that we have posted. If the
email address appears as a link, clicking on it will pop up your
browser’s mail function. While this should work, with some
older
browsers this feature will not be operational. In many cases you will
find the email address as text, with an "_" inserted into it as the
second character. This is done to prevent the email address from being
picked up by spam robots and the person getting unwanted email. To
contact someone using one of these addresses, simply highlight the
address, copy it and paste it into an new blank email. After you have
pasted in, be sure to highlight the "_" and delete it making sure to
leave no open space where it was.
